This really is a great way to see the riverwalk and get an idea of where everything is. You can learn a little; relax and be a bit entertained. You will be able to see what spots you may want to hang, but getting a view in advance.

We first went to Tower of the America’s to understand the cardinal point building references of the city. At 750 ft. Above ground it hovers 145 ft over Seattle´s Space Needle, both built in the 60´s spurred by World Fairs. It has a nice bar we went to, with a restaurant under that slowly moves along its circumference to see 360 degrees of San Antonio. We took the River Walk cruise shuttle to The Pearl with an exciting lock and dam experience along the way. The historic Emma Hotel along with restaurant and shops are nice to see in the Pearl. We did not get to go to La Villita which I´ve heard is also very quaint and pleasant. We took the Viva Missions shuttle for only a $2.75 per day pass. If you want to visit all missions that include San Antonio de Valero (The Alamo) you cannot go wrong here. Driver Pam was an outstanding resource who went way beyond the call of duty sharing hints of food do´s and dont´s, whereabouts, etc.
