The wait for the boat and the seats we got stuck with weren’t the best, but the guide was fantastic! The history and knowledge known was top notch and he made it fun and comical too.

Although the River cruise sights on land going by were interesting, the water was filthy as ever. Disappointed the city has not done anything to improve it since we visited years ago. The Mexican Market was very over-priced with pottery marked “Talavera” which clearly was not, with inappropriate high Talavera prices on common painted objects. The SAS shoes’ outlet well worth a stop with tons of stock at great prices. Restaurants in downtown area surprisingly moderately priced. Be aware, the area near the market and Alamo is all torn up with street construction making the expensive parking lots tricky to access. The Alamo was wonderful, as always and worth every reasonable admission price.

Both BC (trolley tour) and Aaron (river cruise) were extremely knowledgeable and entertaining! We thoroughly enjoyed our tours of San Antonio, in large part because of the tour guides we encountered.
