San Antonio has done a great job with the river walk. The retail is mostly restaurants, but also includes the walk which connects to the river walk too. The boat ride is fun and informative; definitely a must do.

I think this is a good way to see the city in a few days. I like the tour bus because it was convenient for myself who was traveling solo. I could get off at one place I was interested in seeing then get on the bus again and on to another place. The driver would give you interesting history of each places you went by. The cruise was ok seeing the Riverwalk from a different point of view and the history of it. The tower, make sure its a clear day when you go up for the visibility. I had a great time. I recommend it
