The bus has an automated robo-recorded narration of the tour route. The things the voice is describing does not correspond with what you are seeing out the window. I took the route twice because I was sure I missed something and the narration was the exact same but we were at a different landmark? The bus was dirty (discarded water bottles, etc). I was hoping for a live tour of interesting facts/stories but got none. It seems to be the only “game in town” so you might be stuck with them. I bought a 3-day pass and I will not go back the third day. The River tour was very nice and interesting. That tour was well worth it!

We really enjoyed the boat cruise and seeing so much of the River Walk. The Hop on/Hop off bus was a different story. We had to wait an hour for a bus to arrive due to them having broken down buses. And then, it seemed like the most we heard about by our guide was the different restaurants.
