Great trip to San Antonio! Friendly people. Interesting sites. Great food. Kudos to La Quinta by the airport. Excellent customer service. Would definitely stay there again. We enjoyed the Hop On Hop Off Tour with Riverwalk Cruise and Tower of the Americas. It was a perfect way to spend a day downtown. Lots of options for families and adults.

We purchased tickets the end of the day Saturday, which were good until Sunday at 5:00 PM. Sunday morning we waited at 3 different locations for a total of more than an hour but no boats arrived at the stops. The boats were running doing guided tours. We even saw the driver and boat that sold us our tickets. But no one stopped at the shuttle stops. After about 8 phone calls and leaving a couple messages, we finally got thru to someone who said the shuttles would not run today because there was a chance of rain. Well tell could have told somebody! There was nothing said on the recordings, nothing on the website, nothing at any of the shuttle stops. So, our planned day was a bust. By the time we learned they were closed it was too late into the day to make new plans because this was our main mode of transportation. We paid for a full day (24 hour pass) and got about 10 minutes use Saturday plus we were stranded for more a couple hours. They made no offer of any kind of refund or credit. Avoid this unless you are able to walk when the abandon you. Oh yeah, it never rained!

We went with another couple and we enjoyed our ride. Our boat operator was very informative. We did feel crowded on the boat, we were literally touching knees. Then we saw other boats with hardly anyone. Glad we took it but was expecting a bit longer ride. Spent a good day walking and enjoying the sights.
