After you pay, you receive an email with a link producing very realistic looking “e-tickets”. Except there’s no location given. That’s right—no address! No directions! When I found my way to the river with my fake tickets, a vendor explained that they weren’t really tickets and showed me—two more links in—an address in fine print where you have to go to get your real tickets. Tired and disillusioned, I gave up and wrote this off as a scam. BEWARE!

It is certainly not a scam but everyone who purchases online does have to pick up there actual boarding documents and tickets at our San Antonio Visitor Center on the outside of the Menger Hotel. Great experience and very informative. Leisurely glide down the river to understand the history, significance, and sights. Allows you to get your bearings to figure out where you want to see more of.
