San Diego Whale Watching Tour

Overview

Our trips depart from Mission Bay, which requires only a short 10 minute journey access to the open ocean where whales and dolphins can be seen! The search for whales and other animals begins as soon as you depart the dock and our marine biologists are on the microphone explaining exactly what to expect and what you are seeing from the get go!
Typically our trips are 2.5-3 hours in length, but time can vary based on seasons and locations of sightings.

Absolutely loved this....the boat was cool, the staff were fab and met some nice folk to chat to on the trip! Really well organised.... We were just unusually unlucky not to see and whales or mammals but the company strike a good deal and give you a free pass on your next visit. I'm from England but LOVED San Diego....it might tempt me to return!!!! 😊🇺🇸🏆

We got to see dolphins, sea lions, and two humpback whales. The naturalist was able to narrate and tell us interesting facts about the animals. Staff on board was knowledgeable very friendly and kind. You could tell they really love their job. Would definitely do it again.

Awesome boat trip. Got to see a pod of 8 humpback whales! Even the crew members were excited . Incredible! Crew was awesome!
