We flew into LA for a quick vacation and did a day-trip to San Diego. This was an enjoyable experience. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Several people got seasick on the boat and the staff were very attentive and concerned. We saw whales, dolphins, sea-lions, etc. We got some really great pictures also. We were all glad that we decided to do this. Definitely bring a jacket as the temperature drops quickly. FYI...I used Groupons for our excursion and it saved us a lot of money for our party of 5. I highly recommend this company.

I went on a tour with these guys and the trip was rough and we did not see any whales not to mention it was not so much a friendly experience if I recall. I would highly recommend horn blower or flagship.

We had an amazing experience, with four different species of whale (blue, fin, minke, and humpback), plus squid and sunfish to watch. The whales were often within 10 feet of the boat. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and they even let us stay out a free additional hour, given how many whales we were surrounded by. I felt safe and taken care of the entire time. I would definitely call this a must-see.
