I did it before in Cape Cod, but this is the first time for my wife. We paid Groupon $39 for both of us for a 3-hr trip. There are only about 30 passengers on this 140 capacity boat. I think it's because it's too early for whales to migrate back north this time of the year, we only saw one mom whale and two baby whales. But I have never seen so many dolphins anywhere, it was very exciting. I felt bad for the 5 crew members, since there were too few passengers and most of them didn't even tip. I learned something from this trip, we need to protect our ocean so our kids and grand kids can enjoy it too. Life is a long journey, whales certainly should earn their right to do whatever they normally do.

Whale watching is a marvelous experience if you are fortunate enough to see a whale up close. The best time to do so is when they are migrating from the northern part of the US west coast to the oceans of Mexico to give birth to or return home after giving birth. These huge mammals are a treasure and are one spectacular site!

This was a beautiful site to be out in the Ocean and watch the big beautiful whales along with their young swimming so gracefully.
