San Diego Whale Watching Tour

Overview

Our trips depart from Mission Bay, which requires only a short 10 minute journey access to the open ocean where whales and dolphins can be seen! The search for whales and other animals begins as soon as you depart the dock and our marine biologists are on the microphone explaining exactly what to expect and what you are seeing from the get go!
Typically our trips are 2.5-3 hours in length, but time can vary based on seasons and locations of sightings.

Share most of the ride accompanied by dolphins and were able to spot one whale closed by when submerging and 2 far away

Crew did a great job and worked hard to make it a fun experience. Unfortunately on our day we didn’t see any whales but we did see some dolphins. They looked and looked for 3 hours through binoculars and didn’t give up. Thanks for trying hard to make everyone’s experience memorable.

Everyone was super nice. We saw many dolphins, some sea lions, and a minke whale. This is something that was on a bucket list and it was very memorable. Thank you so much for making our trip so special!!
