What a wonderful day out in the ocean - we went out on 8/31- Saturday morning from 10-1-- had about 45 people on the boat with us and had a great time. We did not see any whales but saw hundreds of dolphins - which were amazing- even saw baby dolphins. We saw pod after pod and were surrounded by dolphins for the majority of the trip. The staff on the boat was very helpful and explained everything along the way and answered all questions. We also saw sea lions - which was cool. I would recommend this to anyone who loves being out in the middle of the ocean and loves sea life- well worth the drive to mission bay . If you do this whale watch- get there early and get to the benches in the front of the boat !

We went to several interesting places in San Diego, but this was by far the most exciting!! It was a perfect day, calm water and warm. We saw a lot of dolphins and three blue whales. It was awesome! Even if we hadn't seen the whales it was a really a nice boat ride. The crew were very helpful answering questions and we even got to stay out a little longer because a pair of whales were spotted on the way home. I would highly recommend putting Whale Watch San Diego on your "to do" list while visiting the area.

Second time whale watching on the California coast during the summer to see blues, but at last no luck. We did see a Mola Mola with some Sea Lions. We ended up see a bunch of dolphins and even a shark. Nice trip would do again.
