Overview

Our trips depart from Mission Bay, which requires only a short 10 minute journey access to the open ocean where whales and dolphins can be seen! The search for whales and other animals begins as soon as you depart the dock and our marine biologists are on the microphone explaining exactly what to expect and what you are seeing from the get go!

Unfortunately, we were not able to take our trip since it was cancelled due to the weather. We were already on the way when we were notified via text about 1 hr before we were supposed to head out. The operator was kind enough to follow up and try to reschedule but were unable to due to our schedule so we were offered a refund.

I would totally rate this experience a five but at the end I paid $15 for an email of the pictures the tour guide took and I never received the email. The tour was great. The guides were very educated and made sure we got to see a whale. I would definitely take the motion sickness medication before boarding.

The thrill of seeing not one, not two but three blue whales was incredible. Thanks to the crew for literally going the “extra mile” (14 miles rather than the typical 12 miles) for a shot at seeing these magnificent creatures.
