Overview

Our trips depart from Mission Bay, which requires only a short 10 minute journey access to the open ocean where whales and dolphins can be seen! The search for whales and other animals begins as soon as you depart the dock and our marine biologists are on the microphone explaining exactly what to expect and what you are seeing from the get go!

It was amazing! We are from the Midwest and being so far out on the ocean was an awesome experience. Seeing the whales was awe inspiring. This was the highlight of our trip. Great crew. I would advise bringing ponchos and dressing warm!

It was a beautiful time a little disappointed I didn’t see any whales maybe next time. Overall my husband and I enjoyed the tour

Absolutely incredible! We went on the lunchtime/afternoon cruise and saw long and short beaked common dolphins, bottlenose dolphins and 8 blue whales including a mum and calf. The marine biologist on board was so knowledgeable too. Epic trip. Amazing memories. Honoured to be part of the 1% club! Thanks San Diego Whale Watch, you guys are the best.
