We went out for the 1st trip of the morning, we were out on the water for 2 hours before we had even seen our 1st common dolphin. We were beginning to believe that we wasted our money and our time, we were on a time line to get back to Vegas. The boat left about 15 minutes late from the time we were supposed to, because it took so long to find whales, we saw 2 Humpback whales and a group of Fin Whales, it was pretty cool to see them blow water in the air and see their tails slightly out of water. I think we were a little disappointed, we wanted to see one jump out of the water like you do in the movies, oh well, that's why we went to sea world the day before. It was definitely a life experience, and would definitely go out again. If you go out on the Privateer, make sure you sit on the lower deck in the front. When you see the dolphins they will be along side the front of the vessel, they love to play with the boats. Just a word of warning, everyone will rush to the front and stand so, make sure you are positioned to get to the side of the boat to see the whales if you want a fighting chance of seeing anything.
