Overview

The San Diego Zoo Safari Park, an 1,800-acre wildlife park, is home to more than 3,600 animals representing over 300 species. More than 1 million guests each year see wildlife in herds of mixed species, in expansive savanna habitats. The Safari Park also maintains a vast accredited botanical collection of more than 1.3 million plant specimens, representing over 3,700 species. Guests are invited to take part in thrilling safari experiences and create lasting memories, while supporting San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance’s conservation efforts to save wildlife worldwide.

Tickets must be purchased at least one day prior to visit. With mobile tickets, simply scan your phone for direct entry into the Safari Park.

Easy entrance experience, lots of animals to see. Staffs were very helpful and friendly. Sad that the bats were close for viewing but the experience were still pretty good.

The safari tram could be longer with more animals to see. More animals to see on all attractions. The food was very pricey

It was amazing. Very well designed but it is quite a bit of walking. When we decided to go last minute we thought it was a drive - through safari not just another zoo with one free option on a tram and several expensive pay additional tours. But I would recommend just wish we would have know more what to expect.
