The giraffes were special. The whole park was clean and it opened 10 minutes. The wilderness feel was great too!

First the good: I was very pleased to see all the sanitation stations. Also every store required sanitizing before entering. posted staff directing guest is above and beyond effort by park. Second: I was amazed that all but one HUGE IDIOT individual followed mask-on requirement. And he was on the over crowded Condor Trail. One out of hundreds is really good! But it only takes one... Now the bad: this time was my fourth visit to Safari Park 20 years. I absolutely love the place. It is definitely my favorite place as far as an amusement park goes. Although I know the park was not at full capacity and required reservations, it was the most crowded I had ever seen it in my times there. The “trails” were extremely overcrowded. Going up and coming down. Although all individuals kept it moving we were literally within touching distance therefore making it virtually IMPOSSIBLE to keep 6 feet apart. Was there from slightly after 10 to 1:00 on April 6th! All being said, I would return !

Always love going back to the zoo when I come back home to San Diego to visit! The new exhibits are amazing and they keep building new ones and can’t wait to them next visit.
