San Francisco is a great place to rent a bike. Blazing Saddles locations are spread thoughout the city and renting a bike over there is a good choice. The bikes are well maintained and the instructions are clear. Remember that some of the hills in San Francisco are really steep. I would recommend taking the beginner/intermediate routes to avoid shortness of breath before reaching the Golden Gate Bridge. Sausalito and Tiburon are great places to visit and well worth your time. Enjoy better views, but also really steep climbs, during the intermediate/advanced routes.

We rented the bikes for a whole day and went over the Golden Gate Bridge and to Golden Gate Park (the route to the park is very hilly). Helmet, lock and attachment for backpacks were included.

Sounds like you made great use of your all-day bike rental with us! Hitting both the Golden Gate Bridge and the Golden Gate Park sounds like an epic day in San Francisco.

OK rental shop, but they just need to have control of how a helmet should sit properly. We had chosen the normal bike, next time I will probably upgrade to a better model, but fine enough to get over the bridge, but a bit steep the way home. The video shown made it easy to find over there. but good trip and it can definitely be recommended.
