We'll start outside St. Mary's Church and talk for a few minutes before heading into the heart of Chinatown.

Tin How Temple

Believers and skeptics will gain insight into Chinese attitudes about the supernatural, see Chinatown alleyways with new eyes, and leave wondering about what really lies beyond the so-called real world.

Portsmouth Square

Portsmouth Square is Chinatown's only back yard where residents of the community meet from early morning to late night playing chess and dancing to modern music till it is time to go home.

Our guide was fantastic and even though we were the only ones booked he took us on the tour not canceling, he was informative, personable and I recommend this tour for everyone!

This is certainly one of the best SF Walking Tours. Marc has amazing stories, rich history (dating back to the Gold Rush) and he's super knowledgeable about architecture from Julia Morgan to why Chinatown looks like it does today. On the day of tour, rain was forecast, and he was so kind to check in to make sure we were still good with the tour, and allowed us to reschedule if needed. But we were lucky and missed the rain. You will definitely do some SF style walking (up and down hills), but you will get off the beaten path and hear fascinating stories about SF's Chinatown along with many great visuals that he brings along. Our next tour is Marc's Chinatown Fight Tour!

Looking for a little history with some interesting ghostly story then look no further. Marc is a great guide and full of knowledge about the amazing history and ghostly activity in Chinatown. This hour and half tour is great and you get alittle exercise as you walk about a mile around the alleys and roads in Chinatown.
