Santa Fe Railyard Farmers Market Food Tour

Overview
Skip the long lines and dive into the bold, smoky, and complex flavors of traditional New Mexican cuisine with a chef-guided lunch at La Choza—the beloved sister restaurant of The Shed. Starting in the Santa Fe Railyard, we’ll take a scenic stroll along the historic Rail Trail before settling in for an exclusive, three-course meal at this local favorite, renowned for its award-winning red and green chile.

Led by a culinary expert, this immersive lunch explores the origins and evolution of New Mexico’s distinct cuisine, with a comparative tasting that highlights the key differences between Mexican and New Mexican flavors. To elevate the experience, we’ll celebrate Santa Fe’s status as the Margarita Capital of America with a top-shelf margarita pairing for each course, showcasing different styles and expressions of this iconic cocktail.

After indulging in a feast of local flavors, we’ll finish on a sweet note with a locally inspired dessert at Santa Fe’s premier craft ice creamery

Hi Allan, I'm glad to hear you had a great time on the tour and found it to be well worth the price! It also sounds like you were able to check out the Santa Fe Farmer's Market, which is great to hear. Thanks for visiting Santa Fe and for taking the time to write a review! Cheers, Joe

Jay was an excellent guide. I truly enjoyed going to restaurants that I probably would not visit. The food and chefs were top notch. My only suggestion is that I would rather see another restaurant rather than the Santa Fe Spirits. I was just not that into those distilled spirits but many in our group did.

Hi Janelle, I'm glad to hear Jay was an excellent guide and that the tour took you to restaurants that you wouldn't have visited otherwise - that's exactly what this tour is designed for! The Railyard is so densely populated with some of the best restaurants in Santa Fe so we always love to show our guests this newer, up and coming neighborhood. You make a good point about Santa Fe Spirits - the distillery visit isn't for everyone, so I'd encourage those that aren't interested in craft spirits to consider one of my other two tours (wine stops instead of a distillery). Thanks for visiting Santa Fe and taking a tour with us! Safe travels! Cheers, Joe
