Shannon Scott is by far the best historian I have met. He not only engages you with his wonderful sense of humor; but, his knowledge of the residents of Bonaventure comes from the love and respect that he has for each family that resides in the cemetery. He has taken the time to do his research. My husband and I went Halloween night 2012. We could not have picked a more amazing person than Shannon to spend our evening. I also got some fantastic photos. Day or night this is a must see on your trip to Savannah. No other tour to Bonaventure could compare than one with Shannon! Get ready for a entertaining as well as exciting experience.

We highly recommend Shannon Scott for your Bonaventure experience. His story telling and attention to detail was awesome. We were traveling with my 75 yr old mother and she kept saying she could listen to him all day! I read the reviews on tripadvisor and am so glad we booked with Shannon. This is a must and the cemetery is beautiful and so peaceful. Do remember the bug spray as you are close to the river... Thanks again Shannon for a wonderful time...

The Bonaventure Journey with Shannon Scott is a MUST DO for all tourists and locals. Shannon Scott is a "muse of fire". He is a poet of history, an intellectual with the skills, the experience, and the know how to deliver a superb experience that all who live and visit Savannah must do. One has not experienced Savannah, GA until they drink from the waters of Bonaventure, and those waters can only be poured by Shannon Scott. He himself has become part of Savannah's historical and spiritual allure. If you miss his tour, you miss an opportunity of a lifetime.
