Overview

Following your trolley tour of Historic Savannah, embark on the Savannah Riverboat for a 90 minute sightseeing cruise down the Savannah River. During the 90 minute cruise, experience the river that was – and remains – the lifeblood of Savannah! Take advantage of the great photo opportunities of Savannah’s historic riverfront and skyline. The land portion of the tour which is 90 minutes historic trolley tour will be the beginning of the tour. After the land portion of the tour, the trolley driver will drop you off at the River Street boat departure location from where you would board the boat. After the “Sea” portion is done, please call our dispatch line to be dropped back off at Savannah visitors center, your hotel, or anywhere in historic Savannah. The total tour time between land & Sea portion is approximately 5 hours, counting the time between the tour.

Cathedral of St. John the Baptist

The land experience was good, yet VERY FAST not enough time to get pictures. The information was great. Our guide had immense knowledge and we assume it was accurate. However, on the riverboat cruise, we were disappointed-VERY DISAPPOINTED. It was not sightseeing, but of commercial. The information was not done well. Maybe a recording would be better. Price was TOO MUCH!!!

The land portion was very good. The tour guide had a vast knowledge of the city and the history behind it. He was personally involved as his family was here for generations. The river portion was less interesting, the biat was crowded and the the PA was loud and he spoke fast. I think people were more interested in drinking than what he was saying. I'd skip the river cruise and just do the city tour.

The bus driver Big Scott was funny and very informative. Savannah was a beautiful place to visit. The water cruise was ok. It was all commercial traffic. Interesting.
