What a great combo and well worth the price. Was an extremely educational trip from both aspects! Savannah is full of history and current in the shipping industry. Highly recommend! Watch the weather! If it's the least bit chilly, the boat adds windchill! Get there early if you want to sit inside. Only so many window seats and hard to see across the people between you and the window. Saw dolphins and up close to the HUGE container ships that travel the river!

You saw dolphins! That's awesome! Sometimes visitors don't see them on a chillier day. Sounds like you had a lovely day and that's wonderful. Thank you for taking the time to write a thoughtful response. We really appreciate it.

Both tours were super informative. The land tour brought us around the historic district, which is beautiful. I enjoyed learning about the founding families and seeing their homes. The sea tour we did on a different day, due to a glitch with the booking system. I was contacted immediately and arrangements were made so we could still go. There was also some run around with the tickets. Insider tip: Go to the booth with the red awning across the street from the boat to receive your physical ticket. You will need it to board. There was an open bar as well as a limited food menu available for purchase on board. The guide was funny and informative. It's a great way to see the city as well as learn about its past.

We did land and sea tour. Our land tour was the ABSOLUTE best! Dennis was our tour guide, and his Walsh of knowledge, personal skills, and just love for what he does made our day wonderful! I would Definitely recommend Grayline Tours land and sea adventure.
