Julie our drive guide was truely amazing, the Air-conditioned vehicle we rode in was the envy of every other rider in much hyped open air trollys! Now the bad. Reviews of the ride on Viator commented on the excessive 1 hour wait to board the river cruise, so allocating our day, we figured start at 1130, by 1 the drive your would drop we would catch the boat at 2 and be back to our vehicle by 4. No way, as we were dropped at 1 we were told the next cruise departed at 330. A two and half hour wait hanging around the dock, bums, heat, was unreasonable. Period! The boat tour was calm, hot, narrated and interesting, but at some point we just wanted him to shut up. Unless you love hanging around tourist trap river front for over two hours and then trying to catch public transportation back to your vehicle at 6, I would just simply skip this tour and take them seperately where you can control your day! Wasted 2.5 hours of our one day trip! Not money well spent!

Hello! We're sorry you were frustrated with the gap between the trolley and riverboat tour. Since this tour is in partnership with Savannah Riverboat, we line up our rides according to their schedule and thought we try to prepare passengers for a time gap in the description. sometimes people get frustrated. We'll pass your comments on to management. On the bright side, we're delighted to hear you enjoyed Julie and learned a lot!

Our tour guide Dennis was the bomb! Friendly, informative, kind and thoughtful! Information that isn't always easily accessed, and who doesn't enjoy history and learning?! The River Boat was fine enough. EVERYONE should just DO it!

Stephanie our guide and driver was terrific. The bus was very comfortable and we were able to enjoy the informative tour through the beautiful Savannah historic district. The bus dropped us at the riverfront where we had time for a delicious Greek lunch before boarding the river boat for a scenic ride. We were given directions on how to return to the visitor center by using the DOT free shuttle. Lovely day.
