I previously wrote a review about this food tour with my friends and one of them got violently ill. This friend was gluten intolerant. After contacting Bull Dog Tours, they contacted her. They discussed ways to avoid this in the future and were very concerned. They definitely want to take steps to avoid this happening to anyone else. We would not hesitate to book with this company in the future.

We had an enjoyable afternoon tasting Charleston cuisine and learning the history of the people and the crops that shaped the foodie scene in Charleston. Franny is a wealth of knowledge and fun too!! If you have never visited Charleston or the Lowcountry, highly recommend this tour to get a sample of the many flavors of Charleston.

Thanks so much for your review! Franny is a master guide with a deep knowledge and connection to the Lowcountry. Charleston has evolved into on the top culinary meccas in the United States. With many visitors coming to experience the food, in addition to the history and beauty of Charleston, taking a culinary tour with us is a great way to get a taste of all that the Lowcountry has to offer. Thanks for the recommendation! Andrew Kuhn Tour Guide Manager

We had so much fun on this tour. Franny was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable about the history. The amount of walking was not bad at all (about 2 blocks between each stop). We were fortunate to have a small group (2 parties and 5 of us total). Highly recommend!

Thanks for your wonderful review! We love Franny and our so pleased that she is a part of our team here at Bulldog. The culinary tours is the least amount of walking on any of tours since the majority of time is spent sampling the wonderful food of the Lowcountry. Thanks for allowing us to be a part of your trip to Charleston! Andrew Kuhn Tour Guide Manager
