Scenic Horseback Adventure

Overview

Enjoy a 1 hr hour walking guided horseback ride with panoramic views of the Verde Valley. We are only 30 minutes from Sedona. This ride is tailored for nervous first timers, beginners, families and children. The ride takes you around the Texas Longhorn pen where you will get to see Brutus, the gentle giant as well as buffalo.. Enjoy views of the Verde Valley, Mingus Mountains and see as far as the San Fransico Peaks in Flagstaff. The old west feel of this location, the western facades, horses, chickens, goats and cows will make you want to trade your shiny shoes for an old pair of boots and your fancy car for a horse! Guest are also welcome to feed the barbado sheep, give the horses treats or take a selfie with the minis.

This family-run business did a great job showing us the Verde Valley. They made my daughter and I feel very comfortable and the scenery was beautiful.

It’s been many years since either my wife or I have ridden horseback. It was so cool and relaxing to do it again. Their little dog followed us along which was cute. Our guide, Alex, was awesome and made sure we were comfortable and having a good time. They give you helmets to wear if you want which I thought was a great idea. The scenery was nice and our guide kept the conversation going. We really liked hearing about everything he talked about and we would highly recommend anyone to go out there and take a ride yourself!

My partner and I did a 1.5 hour horseback ride tour with Jacob and Jada, our wonderful young guides! We had an amazing time! The staff was wonderful and very helpful, and this is a beautiful family operated business. We got to see and interact with lots of animals (cows, turkeys, ponies, chickens, giraffes, wildebeests, and more!) we HIGHLY recommend this tour! And we definitely will be returning on our next vacation :)
