Seattle Harbor Cruise

Overview
Get acquainted with Seattle's historic waterfront from the water side of the wharf on this fully narrated cruise of Elliott Bay and Seattle Harbor. This cruise follows the shoreline and provides up-close views of the piers, ports and area attractions. There are plenty of interesting features around the bay: the Port of Seattle (one of the busiest ports in the United States), Colman Dock (the main dock of the largest ferry system in the US), and Pier 90 (home of the region's cruise ship business), Alki Beach (major local summertime hangout), the Space Needle, the famous Hotel Edgewater, the Great Wheel and the Seattle Aquarium. Last but not least, enjoy tremendous views of the natural beauty that surrounds Seattle. The majestic Olympic Mountains lie to the west, solitary Mount Rainier to the southeast, and the inviting Cascade Range to the east.

What a great narrated harbor tour! We had a spectacular weather day. Ariana, our tour guide was very informative and kept me interested. The views can't be captured in pics but it was very enjoyable just to experience!

My husband, almost 2 year old daughter and I came to Seattle for the first time and did the City Pass. We almost upgraded to the Locks tour but decided not to because my husband was starting to get a migraine. We went ahead and boarded the boat but he instantly got motion sickness. There was a red headed girl on the boat, I can’t remember her name, who was so kind and considerate in making sure my husband was okay. He said she later checked in on him when I was outside with our daughter. All the staff members were very friendly and accommodating. The tour was very interesting (what I could hear while trying to keep my toddler entertained) and the sights were beautiful. 10 out of 10 recommend. Thank you again to the red haired employee for being so kind and accommodating!

Overall this was an ok experience. It was the first activity I did as part of the citypass I purchased. The tour of the harbour was interesting and along the shoreline, the tour guide provided a lot of historical information about Seattle and the buildings and places to look out for which was helpful for the rest of the week I was there. Our tour was fortunate enough to see a sea lion basking on a barge. It was a bit windy and cool around the time that I went, I would recommend bringing an extra sweater or hoodie. Good way to kill an hour and get some ideas where you want to go next.
