We had an amazing time on this kayak and hike tour. The scenery is absolutely jaw dropping, so gorgeous with the streams and lush greenery. My husband and I are in decent shape and brought along our 5 year old and 8 year old daughters, the 8 year old didn't have a problem at all, the 5 year old was definitely tired on the way back. We also brought along my mother and father in their mid-late 60s and this seemed much more intense for them. I would suggest water shoes are a MUST! You'll be crossing multiple streams with a lot of large and small rocks and you will want to protect your feet. You will also want to bring along a hefty snack or lunch for the mid-way stop at the waterfall. We had Don as our guide and he was absolutely wonderful, so knowledgeable about the various plants and wildlife on the island and made it so much fun for the kids and adults. I would definitely recommend this excursion!

The kayaking was fine but the hike was much more than moderate. Rocks, boulders, crossing creeks with slippery rocks . Difficult terrain. We wouldnā€™t have gone had we known the difficulty. Cole (our guide) was great and so was Izzy. I really damaged my foot and getting back down was awful, but Cole and my husband helped greatly getting me to the kayak. People should know this before signing up.

Our guide, Mike, was a pleasure during the entire excursion explaining the history of the area, types of plants and was very knowledgeable of his responsibilities. The kayaking was fun, simple, pleasurable, and in beautiful surroundings. The hiking portion of the excursion was easy to navigate and Mike explained everything as we went. Our family thoroughly enjoy every minute. This trip is Highly Recommended!
