A wonderful tour with a great guide! Go beyond Sheep Meadow, The Bethesda Fountain and Strawberry Fields and see hidden gems of the park while simultaneously learning lots of history of the city, the state and the country, and hear the stories of forgotten New Yorkers who helped transform our city. A wonderful way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon. (We took this tour early/mid-Oct; the foliage will be amazing soon... and I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the spring. Highly recommended for both NYers and visitors.

Hello Rena, Thank you for your review and recommendation of the Secrets of Central Park tour. You've summed up (and show an appreciation for) the purpose of the tour: visiting the little-known, beautiful, and historical places and to give credit to lesser-known New Yorkers who have had an indelible influence on the narrative history of the City and the Park. Thanks again. Bruce

Bruce was an excellent guide. His vast historical knowledge added to each site our tour explored. There were two women in our group who live on Central Park West and they were surprised to see locations and learn information they did not know before. This tour is not just for visitors to NYC. We had fun!

It gave us the opportunity to see parts of the park we never saw before and, in all likelihood, we would never see other than thru this tour. Information was excellent and informative.
