The tour is was a waste of money. The site is in a school soccer field. Cars are constantly driving by. I could have gotten the same view by standing in my hotel’s balcony. The staff was making the best of the limited views we had, very knowledgeable. Don’t waste your money, plenty of beautiful stuff to do in Sedona.

Thank you for your feedback. We have been using our observing site for 7 years now and it is the best of the 5 sites we have used over the last 22 years. We do have an occasional car or two but we are remote yet convenient enough to avoid virtually all light pollution. We think the hotel balcony suggestion is simply Not true.

We thought the tour was underwhelming. It was challenging to see the stars clearly even with the telescopes which were set up by the guides. It would be great if they told some of the more interesting stories about the constellations that they pointed out with the laser. In our opinion it seemed overpriced for the experience.

The pair of instructors were excellent—making the best of a disappointing evening when a bank of clouds rolled in to obstruct the view.
