Escape the crowds and snap stunning photos on an unforgettable Photo Trek! Head off the beaten track today to see the coastal sights of Juneau on a unique type of personal scooter - a Segway. You'll hit the road and the beach on this fun, 3 hour tour.

As you set out, you will immediately encounter views of the majestic Mendenhall Glacier. Cruise the coastline and make several stops for photos while you take in the pristine waters of Lynn Canal, part of the Inside Passage.

Because you are on a Segway, you will have the opportunity to intimately interact with nature. Listen for eagle calls in flight, the waves lapping the shoreline, and maybe even spy the occasional breaching humpback whale.

Then hop off your Segway and walk a short 7 minute trail to a secluded beach to enjoy locally sourced refreshments. Immerse yourself in the Tongass National Forest, a temperate rain forest and the largest National Forest in the US.

The segways were nice and the guides were really nice guys too. However, the whole experience just consisted of going down an asphalt road for a couple of miles. We turned off at one point and went down to a little beach and had salmon salad on crackers. That was about it for the whole experience. Nice, but definitely not worth the money I'm afraid

We spoke with other guests on this tour and they had a wonderful experience. You are correct that our tour route does traverse the bike path of a quiet road, as is stated in the tour description. Most Segway tours utilize roadways, bike paths, and sidewalks. In addition to riding the bike path along the coast with the Mendenhall Glacier, ocean, waterfall, and mountain ranges in view, your tour included a serene walking trail through the rainforest to a gorgeous, secluded beach. Very disappointed did not reflect the description of the tour. Went up a road then back the same road
