Coastal Discovery Museum

Our most popular Eco-Tour. Ride through open meadows, live oak-forest, explore the salt marsh and hear the history of the 70 acre, former cotton plantation. When done, enjoy the Coastal Discovery Museum. Eco Tours are stop and go, narrated tours mixing fun with a little new knowledge. Great for younger children, families and those who want a slower-paced activity. Our host Mary was exceptional and enthusiastic. Everyone who likes history will love this tour . It does get very hot outside on the Segway, so dress appropriately!

We appreciate your feedback on your recent tour and guide! Honey Horn has a great deal of history as does Hilton Head Island. Our experienced guides enjoy sharing this knowledge with our guests as well as answeering questions. It does get hot on the island, but we have lots of shade and water and always hope for a little breeze.

Although we were novices on the Segway, you could not tell. The boys and I caught on quickly thanks to the excellent instructions from Elizabeth, our guide. We jetted around the Honey Horn like pros and then on to Jarvis Creek Park, where we saw alligators and other animals. The history of Honey Horn was interesting. We even visited the museum. I would recommend this tour,

Great time riding the Segways. Chris was very patient with this ole lady learning to ride again. Even taught me how to get on without being shaky. Now if I just get the dips down am good to go. He was very informative on the history of the area and always seemed to know when we needed a break. Enjoyed the Segway excursion immensely.
