Kailua beach is absolutely stunning and I was truly excited to kayak on the turquoise blue water out to the islands. The staff were friendly and more than happy to help me with any queries I had. It was a great way to spend a day on Oahu!

I was amazed at how well run this place was. We came on a Saturday to rent a double kayak and it was busy. We were greeted right away signed forms watched a quick video about safety, given our kayak and life jackets and left. All without waiting. Impressive with so many people to attend to. We went out to flat island (nothing great but a nice paddle) then over to Lanikai beach (the best snorkeling of my life!) You roll your kayak yourself down the street to the put in at a canal which might be difficult for some people if you are trying to do it alone but with 2 people it was easy. I highly recommend using this rental agency.

We rented kayaks, snorkel gear and a dry bag for the day and headed out to the islands. While the video was a bit tedious, everyone at KBA was so helpful and cheery. I will say the snorkels we received need to be retired but the flippers were good and having dry bags to rent cheap was a great added feature. I’ve rented kayaks on other vacations and they don’t often offer bags for rent. We’ll definitely use these guys again in the future.
