Liz was very informative and friendly! She took her time walking and explaining the area. I personally liked the notebook filled with some off beaten pics and facts. Also liked her discussion about what might come next for the gentrification of Chelsea area. Made you feel a little more connected to the areas history .We stayed after the tour and had sushi at the lobster place. Awesome! Will be back to do the whole high line one day!

We spent a lovely morning walking thru Chelsea seeing the exciting Market and the High Line and Meatpacking District. Rory was knowledgeable and brought the area back to its beginnings which was a treat for a couple of history buffs. Learned a lot, visited a new part of the city for us and the pace was just right. Two hours flew by.

This was a very interesting and informative tour, courtesy of our guide Elizabeth. Beautiful to see how an area was revitalized and thriving from the beginnings of a Meatpacking district. The Highline is fascinating to see, how rail lines were converted to parkland. This is a beautiful part of NYC and should not be missed. Pay close attention to the Standard ;) Photos: Highline, Chelsea Market, Meatpacking district
