What To Expect

General Sherman Tree

You will have the opportunity to marvel at the largest tree on the planet – the General Sherman Tree.

Moro Rock Trail

Option to climb to the viewpoint at Morro Rock and visit its stunning lookout point.

Tunnel Log

Pass underneath Tunnel Log, a tree so big you can either walk or drive under it. Additionally you’ll have the chance to gain another perspective of just how massive these trees are as you walk the length of Auto Log, a fallen Sequoia Tree.

Generals Highway

As we begin our journey from the park’s entrance to the Giant Forest, we will drive on the Generals Highway as it winds its way along the scenic Kaweah River. Gaining elevation, we will travel through a diverse and changing landscape from dramatic flowering, cream-colored yuccas in the lower foothills to the largest protected Blue Oak woodland in the world. As we witness the steepest watershed in the Continental United States, we will also see the majestic peaks of the Great Western Divide of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. These epic views are not to be missed!

Crescent Meadow Loop

Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch with stunning views of Crescent Meadow. Picnic location can vary depending on conditions.

The tour guide is very knowledgeable, friendly, caring, and location expert, since he used to be a park ranger. The tour was well worth it! Been there in summer but winter is totally awesome and more care is needed when driving in snow and ice. This is the reason my family and I decided to go with this tour guide. No cell phone signal at the park so safety is a must when driving on snow and black ice so better to hire a caring company. No chains required to drive to their departure location since is in lower altitude.

Alysia was the BEST guide. We had such a great day I could never have packed so much in had I attempted this myself. She knew all the history and shared freely. She knew the best spots and navigated the curvy roads like a pro. Seeing the giant Sequoia trees has been a lifelong dream and joining this small group tour made it even more special. The lunch was delicious. And shoutout to the couple that booked 11/30 as well. Thanks to them we met the required # of participants for tour to operate.
