I have owned a platinum annual pass for all sea world parks for 13 years. We have visited all the parks except the two in Texas. Sesame Place San Diego just opened about 3 weeks ago its the old Aquatica. The parking is pricey ($35) w platinum annual Pass its free and you get closer up to gate. What i liked most is that its nicely laid out. Its mostly a water park and mostly enjoyed by small kids under age 10. They do have some dry rides as well. They have a huge wave pool also Thats super nice. I have visited Sesame Place in PA and they are both amazing. San Diego is more water park. So much fun kids loved it and thats what counts. We watched the shows and they were also too cute. There are lockers all Around park and plenty of food and snacks to purchase. Very nice workers and a lot of security at gate. They do allow some snacks and drinks into park. The platinum pass you get 50 % off all merchandise. Definitely a great park. Will Come back

We knew it was small and had a lot of rides for younger kids which is why we went but most of the rides my little guy could ride were not running. I get everyone is short handed and they didn’t have the lifeguards or ride operators to open everything but you still charge full price… would definitely not recommend or revisit. Not worth the price at all… $35 for parking is also ridiculous…

We attended on April 1st, which was the first week the park opened. For a newly opened park we were disappointed that some of the rides and slides were not open, but it didn't ruin our day. Despite the weather in the mid sixties (but sunny), we braved the water since that is the main reason we went. The water is 🥶❄️ COLD! After your body goes numb, the water part is fun, but would have been more enjoyable if not shivering. The rides are meant for little kids and my 4-6 year olds enjoyed them. There are not enough dry rides to keep you busy all day ( couple hours max ), so if you don't plan on getting in the water skip this park. We rented an Abby Cadaby cabana and purchased the "fast passes" to skip the lines. It wasn't crazy busy, so we probably didn't need the passes, but had already paid for them online prior. The cabana was comfortable and came with a mini fridge and lockable compartment. It was right in front of the kids area which was convenient for my family. I thought there was supposed to be wait staff, but they never came so we just grabbed our own food and brought it back. There is a small pool only open to people who purchase cabanas and we didn't get in until the very end since it's just a pool with no features... That pool was Warm!!!! Great way to take the chill off at the end of the day. Pros: I actually like the fact the park is not huge so you can walk across quickly. Although not the fastest, the staff tried. Kids enjoyed the theme. Good assortment of water slides and attractions. Negatives: Expensive all in for what you get. Cold water. Limited food options. Cold water. They charge $100 for an electric scooter which is the most of any park I've attended and ridiculous!!!
