Took the walking tour via GasLamp Hostel. One of the best days of my trip to San Diego. I was not interested in a "tourist trap" and wanted to see the real culture and lifestyle of Tijuana. I did not go down there to party or get wild. I wanted to see the people, place and culture of Tijuana. It was a blast and Sylvia was the greatest!!! I felt safe, secure and Syliva was open to questions and discussions regarding what we were viewing!!! I thought this was as much fun or more than the San Diego Zoo!!!!

Martha was our tour guide. Not only did we arrive late due to trying to find parking, but had to take an Uber once we did find a spot. She was gracious enough to wait for us and made light of our untimeliness. From the start everything was great, Martha was very knowledgeable about culture, history, and geography of both San Diego and Tijuana. She did not hesitate to answer questions and took us to a bunch of great spots. She also gave important tips or how to navigate the city. We tried various foods rode local transportation and left with great memories, pictures, a few pesos on top of that. If you like cantaloupe try the cantaloupe water, itā€™s delicious. Has to be one of the best city tours Iā€™ve taken. PS feel free to arrive 30 minutes early to find parking, lots fill up quickly. -Karl and Jason

I was traveling solo and wanted a guide for my first time to Mexico. Sylvia is local and was fantastic. She took us to the places that the locals go to eat and hang out and not just the touristy places. She was also very knowledgeable regarding Mexican history and politics which was another interesting facet of the tour. Would definitely book again!
