We only had an afternoon, but packed it full with a wonderful tour of 3 memorable places close to Denver. Our tour guide, Kristin (hopefully I remember her name correctly) was really outstanding! She immediately knew our names and was friendly and outgoing. She gave us a tour full of great facts, history of the area and the layers of vegetation areas we traveled on our route to Red Rocks Amphitheater, Echo Lake, and the little town of Evergreen. And, as we were up in the higher elevations, she even put on John Denver's "Rocky Mountain High" for us to listen or sing along to! We couldn't have asked for a better guide and when we were at Echo Lake and gshe provided the facts on the scary, but breathtaking drive to the top of Mt Evans, we succombed to the temptation and did the drive a day later! Unforgettable memories made - thank you, Kristin, this was a great "sampler tour" that would tempt us to visit again!

A group of 10 young ladies (High School Basketball Team) and 4 mothers took this tour. Christen picked up at the airport. The plane was slightly delayed but always had communication with the driver to ensure prompt pickup. Tour promptly took us to red rocks. In which my wife texted me, what ever schedule we are on, we are not going to meet it as the girls are taking so many pictures. It was also concert day, so they were able to see the band pull up as well and see the venue set up for the show. From there snack and walking in evergreen. The girls split into group and did various things included old tyme pictures. Lunch and more touring was at Echo lake. Food and trail activities were all a hit. As I noted, due to pictures, everywhere, we did not stop in Idaho Springs, but everyone was tired by then. The group was in town for 3 more days and as we drove back and forth from the hotel to game sites on a numerous occasions the girls brought up items from the tour. The graffitti art around Denver. The blue horse at DIA, and blue bear at Denver Convention center. At one point they were discussing the changes in the eco system that you will see in Colorado (again from the tour). It turned out a number of the girls had not been to the mountains before, so going through squaw pass to echo lake, they experience mountain lakes, flowers, now and 10,000 foot elevations. All in all. Prompt timing, informative, safe and clean.
