Witness beautiful Rocky Mountain vistas while climbing over a beautiful mountain pass to Echo Lake at 10,600 ft. Stroll around this beautiful glacial lake sitting at the base of 14,256 foot Mt. Access into the amphitheatre is dependent on sound check closures by performers the day of. We recommend taking our morning tour for best chances of accessing the inside of the amphitheatre itself during concert seasons.

Evergreen Lake

Echo Lake Park

Travel up Squaw Pass where you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Continental Divide and Rocky Mountains along this Scenic Byway. You will reach beautiful Echo Lake, a glacial lake sitting at 10,600 ft at the base of Mt. Evans. Enjoy a stroll around the lake and take in the fresh mountain air and scenery.

We took two tours with Colorado Sightseer over two days. First was #7 Red Rocks, Evergreen, and Echo Lake with Scott. Second was #4 Rocky Mountain National Park with Will. I cannot say enough about how fantastic both tours were. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to help us take group pictures with the beautiful scenery. We saw so many sights, towns, and shops that we otherwise would have never known existed. Both Scott and Will went out of their way to allow us to see wildlife such as elk, deer, prairie dogs and foxes. The tours were worth every penny and we cannot wait to get back to Colorado in the future. I would recommend Colorado Sightseer to anyone traveling to the area.

Took two tours with Dawn over the past two days! The full day Rocky Mountain tour and the ½ day Red Rocks/Echo Lake tour. Both were excellent and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Dawn! She was full of knowledge, funny and kept the trip light and fun both days. Definitely worth the time if you are coming to the Denver area for the first time and want to get a feel for all that is around you.

Will was amazing and everything was absolutely beautiful! 30 min at Red Rock is enough but would have liked 45-50min at Evergreen. Cute little town with lots of quaint shops. only had 30 min so enough to grab a cup of coffee from the local shop and quick look at 2 boutiques. I would have liked to wander a little more. Will was a great tour guide and stopped many time for us to take photos. Even turned around when someone spotted a bald eagle so we could all get pictures. Absolute MUST trip if in Denver. nice as we were back by 1:30 so not too long of a day either.

Thank you Suzanne, I agree Evergreen is so fun and I could spend the day(s) there shopping. My husband calls it my net zero tour! It's hard to fit it all into a half day tour, next time take one of our full day tours, we'll even give you a discount for being a repeat guest.
