Witness beautiful Rocky Mountain vistas while climbing over a beautiful mountain pass to Echo Lake at 10,600 ft. Stroll around this beautiful glacial lake sitting at the base of 14,256 foot Mt. We recommend a jacket year round as the mountains are always colder than Denver. In the winter hat and gloves are recommended as well.

Access into the amphitheatre is dependent on sound check closures by performers the day of. We recommend taking our morning tour for best chances of accessing the inside of the amphitheatre itself during concert seasons.

Echo Lake Park

Whole tour was great! Wished to have more time at each spot, but I did take a half day tour. The mountain drive to Echo lake was gorgeous!!

The tour ran longer ... more like 5-1/2 hours because our guide, Will, sensed that the group was really enjoying every part of the tour. When we came across a group of elk by the road, Will turned the van around so we could see them up close. We spent just the right amount of time in each spot and we were lucky to be part of a group where everyone was particularly respectful and made sure they were in the meeting place at the agreed time. This is an amazing choice especially for anyone who could only go on one tour while in Denver.

Christine was our guide for the day & she was extremely knowledgeable. Red Rocks is stunning as is Echo Lake. The aspens were in brilliant color and the weather was fabulous. This is a small group tour with a great guide in a comfortable travel van. It’s well worth the cost of admission. Christine took pictures for everyone, she shared an enormous amount of information about where to eat in various areas of Colorado and what to see & do in Estes Park (our next destination). Ask questions, she has answers and recommendations. 👍🏼👍🏼
