Witness beautiful Rocky Mountain vistas while climbing over a beautiful mountain pass to Echo Lake at 10,600 ft. Stroll around this beautiful glacial lake sitting at the base of 14,256 foot Mt. We recommend a jacket year round as the mountains are always colder than Denver. In the winter hat and gloves are recommended as well.

Access into the amphitheatre is dependent on sound check closures by performers the day of. We recommend taking our morning tour for best chances of accessing the inside of the amphitheatre itself during concert seasons.

Echo Lake Park

Travel up Squaw Pass where you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Continental Divide and Rocky Mountains along this Scenic Byway. You will reach beautiful Echo Lake, a glacial lake sitting at 10,600 ft at the base of Mt. Evans. Enjoy a stroll around the lake and take in the fresh mountain air and scenery.

I had an amazing time on this tour. The views were astonishing, and the stops we got to make to see these views were perfect. Even with the cold weather and clouds, it was still so great! I highly recommend this.

Per tour guide Scott, the weather made a couple of the normal stops tricky. However, had an excellent view of the snow storm moving in across the mountains, some gorgeous cliffs and really nice peaks. Scott was very knowledgeable of the Denver history and current affairs, plus saw mule deer and white deer. Easily the best part of my Denver vacation, should have booked the longer day trip.
