We had watched the website for what seemed to be the best outing to catch a glimpse of a whale and opted for the 2:30 tour - we weren't disappointed. Our 2 captains were fantastic and went out of their way to get their guests a sighting, while providing an interesting explanation of the habits of the Humpback and Gray Whales. We were lucky enough to see the full length of a surfacing Humpback just yards from the boat and later a Gray Whale about 100 yards away. The crew was very polite and cautious to keep the boat as stable as possible in fairly heavy seas. This is the tour to book if you're in the Oceanside area.

This was a great trip. What made it even better was on our first trip out there were no sightings of whales and we were given tickets to come back on another whale watch. We returned two days later and saw whales that came almost up to the boat it was wonderful

I highly recommend Oceanside Adventures for whale and dolphin tours! Obviously these are wild animals so there is no guarantee you will see something but every time we have taken a tour we have! They really know what they are doing and give you so much info on the animals and ocean as well!
