We heard about Oceanside Adventures from another military spouse that highly recommended them here at Camp Pendleton so we decided to give them a try since we had family in town for the holidays! We were very very happy with the whale watching tour! We got to see three grey whales breach and it was amazing! As we were searching and watching the whales the tour guide gave us some facts on the whales, how they lived, how they traveled, and why they migrated south every year! It was a lot of fun! I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking to go on a whale watching tour and look forward to going out with them in the summer to see more whales and dolphins!

Our family had a wonderful time. There were nine of us aged 67 to 5 and everyone enjoyed seeing the whales and dolphins. I think the children liked the dolphins more than the whales. The dolphins come right up to the boat and jump in the wake. The boat has a full snack bar available onboard. I would recommend having some chewable Dramamine for the children and regular for adults. You do need to take it one hour before you go out. The two-hour trip was more that enough and it actually was more like two and a half. I would recommend making reservations. Our cruise was sold out, but the boat was not overloaded at all. You will have a great time doing this.

The crew with Oceanside Adventures went the extra mile, literally for our tour. They took the extra time and travelled further up the coast to ensure we were able to see a migrating Gray Whale up close and personal. My favorite part of the whole trip was that the crew was just as excited as we were to see the dolphins and whales. Their boat was clean, staff was friendly, and we'll worth the price!
