Overview

We offer the Ultimate Adventure with our Glass Bottom Kayak LED illuminated Night & Sunset Tours! Our LED Sunset Tours start at 8pm and our LED Night Tours start at 9:30pm every night. We'll start by paddling through mangrove canals and then explore along mangrove shorelines and shallow grass flats. We'll look for various sea-life and seabirds as we paddle through a shallow harbor. We'll explore the underwater views with our custom high powered underwater LED lights as you look for fish, stingrays, crabs, shrimp and other sea-life as we illuminate the waters around us. The views of the John Ringling Causeway Bridge and The City of Sarasota Skyline is awesome! With literally nothing to do at night in Water Sports, our Glass Bottom Kayak LED illuminated Night & Sunset Tours are perfect for families, friends, large groups, or an unforgettable date night under the stars or at Sunset! Our kayaks have no drain holes so you can wear full clothing with shoes and even stay warm in the winter!

This is an outdoor experience with kayaks so you will only be close or around people in your group, family, friends, etc. You will naturally be distanced from other kayaks and people while out on the water.

What To Expect

Ken Thompson Park

We'll start off by going through Mangrove canals and then we'll paddle into a shallow area of Sarasota Bay looking for various sea-life while exploring through the grass flats. There's parts of the bay where we'll find various seabirds along the mangrove shorelines. There's also areas where we often find stingrays and manatees feeding and roaming along the grass flats. During most of the tour you'll see incredible panoramic views of the John Ringling Causeway Bridge and the Skyline of the City Of Sarasota!

We would definitely recommend this activity for a fun family or couples evening out. We were on holiday from the UK and really enjoyed our excursion. Our tour guide Emilio was very professional and created a safe environment for us to enjoy ourselves. We were surprised to hear that he was new to the job as he seemed very confident with what he was doing. The only area I would mention would be the guided tour. We were told when we got there that in order to fully hear Emilio’s commentary, we would need our phones in order to ring a number to be able to hear his on the water commentary about the locality and wildlife. I would have tried to get a water proof phone case before going as I wasn’t comfortable using my phone without a case. Our phones were unable to connect to service due to having a UK sim. Could the kayaks have a portable speaker? However I did try to keep close to Emilio while he spoke and what I could hear was very informative. The views from the water in the dark were amazing and the LED lights beneath the kayaks really helped with seeing what was in the water around us Feeding the fish was a great touch!! Definitely a unique fun experience which I’m sure will do well for the guys behind this
