This walking tour takes you to three handpicked bars/restaurant establishments both on and near Shem Creek where you are provided not only top notch views but also the historic background of the area all the way back to its Native American roots. Sample light, tasty appetizers along the way provided complimentary as part of the tour and have the opportunity to purchase some fine Southern cocktails and a variety of beverages all while listening to local history and tales of the area from a licensed guide.

Charleston Historic Tours

This public boardwalk provides absolutely beautiful views of Historic Shem Creek and the Shrimp Boats along the creek. It also provides a pathway that connects several of the bars and restaurants.

Captain Brian was very knowledgeable about the history of the Charleston area as well as Shem Creek. He took us to four locations, three of which brought out appetizers for all the guests to share. The Buffalo chicken Dip, Macaroni & Cheese and Fried Green tomatoes were delicious. If you want to sample some of what the local restaurants have to offer and gain some knowledge, then sign up for his tour.

Bryan is such a knowledgable & fun tour guide!! An absolute must do while visiting Charleston/Mount Pleasant area. He offers a variety of tours & I would definitely recommend him for a great adventure!!

Had a blast with the insightful and funny Bryan who was my tour guide. It was great seeing the sites and hearing the history along with the food breaks. The buffalo chicken dip was my favorite especially with the gorgeous view of Sham Creek. The locations were trendy and pleasant. Great activity to do with friends or for a date
