We did what was suggested on TripAdvisor which was to make the Gettysburg Heritage Center our very first stop when we arrived in Gettysburg. We definitely made the right decision, and the experience provided an excellent overview of the history of the battle, before, during, and after. The short movie was well done and then we enjoyed going through the museum which was very well organized and informative. The entire experience here was great and we would highly recommend a visit to the Gettysburg Heritage Center.

Unfortunately the museum was closed on the day that I had to go there. Saw nothing. I only had this one day to see the museum because of scheduling for other events

After traveling back in time on the Gettysburg National Battlefield bus tour it was very interesting and touching to hear and understand those days thru the eyes of the people who lived thru them and the aftermath.
