One could not ask for a better way to tour the highlights of the Met Museum, As a practising artist himself, Mark was an ideal person to bring his experience, rapport, and insights into the great works of art that he helped us appreciate. He listened carefully to the interests of my wife and me and made sure that we had a chance to see those works and the artists and the periods of works that we wanted to see. His observations also led us to see some familiar works in new ways. Aside from his capacities as a tour guide, Mark was such a delightful and interesting human being to be able to have the privilege to talk to and spend quality time sharing his insights into art and its meaning for life.

If you’re planning on going to the Met we cannot stress enough how worth it is to do this tour. Our guide Mark was a fantastic tour guide. the Met is an incredible place however it could feel overwhelming but with Mark as our guide I feel we got the most out of the experience. He was very enthusiastic, had great energy, while being laid back and open minded, we were encouraged to voice our ideas, read the spectacular art in front of us, and have fun doing so. Mark took a great interest in what we wanted to see and was very knowledgeable, teaching us so much about art and culture, from fine art, to fashion, to architecture, he knew it all and did a great job bringing it together with a New York City backdrop. He tied together the history of the city with the works of art to give us a rich and full experience on our first time visit. With so much to see at the Met we were equally impressed with both the art and Marks amazing tour, we would definitely want to do this tour again because there was clearly much more for him to show us.
