Very good zoo given the size of Bloomington. Don't expect a "big city" zoo; yet get better than you'd think. We spent just under 2 hours here. Easy to follow paths. Wide variety of animals: Australian walk-about, tortoise, wolves, birds, goats (can be fed and petted), guanacos, flamingos, otters, tiger, red pandas and more. They have a lunch counter; plenty of tables. Plenty of shade (we went on a warm day), yet also open areas. Great for kids of all ages.

We really enjoyed our time there. Overall the experience was good. We just wished there were some more exhibits.

Miller Park Zoo is fine for younger children. But if youā€™re comparing it to Lincoln Park or Brookfield Zoo - youā€™ll be sorely disappointed. Itā€™s kept up good but not in the best part of town.
