Small Group Antelope Canyon Day Trip from Phoenix

Overview
Hidden for centuries beneath Native soil, nature has built a cathedral for herself: a slot canyon still unsurpassed in its beauty, the perfect symphony of sand, stone and light, layered marble colored rock that is distinctly unique. After exploring Antelope Canyon you will continue on your journey and visit Horseshoe Bend. A short hike takes you to the most captivating curve the Colorado River has carved out on his 1400 mile journey from the Rocky Mountains to the Gulf of California. At this sheer 1000ft drop, framed by massive canyon walls, the emerald green sparkly reflections of this ancient stream will surely take your breath away.

It was a great tour. Aldo was a wonderful tour guide. Plenty of stops along the way. Antelope Canyon was a once in a lifetime experience. The van was very comfortable. Lunch was fun.

The tour guide Jonnette was wonderful. She provided a lot of history. The tour bus driver, Aldo, bullied passengers into giving tips. I always tip, but observed him follow a passenger to his car and confronted him. He was very abrasive and the ride back was horrifying. He drove too fast and didn't have control of the van, mocked other drivers on the road. While he may not represent all Detour drivers, I'm hesitant to ride with Detour again. Again, my tour guide was wonderful. The canyons were beautiful.

Thank you for coming out to Antelope Canyon with us. Our drivers often have to contend with major wind storms on the route between Phoenix and Page, approximately 280 miles, one way. If you have any specific feedback about our tour guide's communications with other guests, besides parts of an overheard conversation, I look forward to learning how we can improve the tour experience, and the performance of our guide team. It was a long tour. As I stayed in Phenix and would like to avoid long driving, it was a convenient tour to visit the beautiful Antelope.
