Small Group Antelope Canyon Day Trip from Phoenix

Overview
Hidden for centuries beneath Native soil, nature has built a cathedral for herself: a slot canyon still unsurpassed in its beauty, the perfect symphony of sand, stone and light, layered marble colored rock that is distinctly unique. After exploring Antelope Canyon you will continue on your journey and visit Horseshoe Bend. A short hike takes you to the most captivating curve the Colorado River has carved out on his 1400 mile journey from the Rocky Mountains to the Gulf of California. At this sheer 1000ft drop, framed by massive canyon walls, the emerald green sparkly reflections of this ancient stream will surely take your breath away.

Jennifer was great during the travel, she is a great driver and very informative when it came to the areas we were passing by. Horseshoe area could it have been an hour instead of 45 mts as it felt with the heat at the same time, time went quick. I walk fast but it another 15 mts would make a big difference. Horseshoe stop was awesome. Regarding the Canyon Antolope, OMG is a must, the area is stunning but can get crowed, if you driving straight there, get there early. If you ever in UTAH or anywhere around this section the trip is shorter. This is located in the town of Page. I was picked up from Scottsdale which the trip was longer but worth it, i was prepared for it. Hopefully this information helps someone. I had a great experience on that day. :-)

The private Anrelope Canyon Day trip was worth the time and money. I must admit, I was a little nervous about the long trip from Phoenix to Page, AZ. Mark, our driver and guide made the trip so fun. We learned lots about the places we were driving though and general Arizona history and triva facts. Mark and the folks at Detours made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. I wholly recommend this trip and ask for Mark as your guide. We also learned that they do custom private tours and I am planning one in Utah. If you are on the fence about this tour, just do it!!
