Join Coastal Kayak Charters for a small group guided kayak tour of the Shell Key Preserve. We are St Pete's top rated kayak tour company and focus exclusively on small groups and private tours. Our trips offer more personalized service and better wildlife viewing opportunities while out on the water. We will explore hidden mangrove tunnels (tides permitting), shallow seagrass meadows, and stop on Shell Island for time to swim, look for shells, or just relax and enjoy the beach. Our tours are designed for beginners and experienced kayakers alike. We use stable user friendly kayaks that provide a great paddling experience. We primarily use double kayaks unless you have an odd number in your group. If you prefer single kayaks they are available through our website. What's Included

All Equipment, Instruction & Dry Bags. Primarily Double Kayaks, singles available through website.

**Weight Limit** 250lbs per seat | 450lbs combined for double kayaks.

*Ages 3+ | 3-12 must be in a double kayak with an adult or older child.

*Please arrive to launch site 30min early, there are no public facilities available at site.

Made a last minute decision to take a tour. They were easy to find, professional, friendly upon our arrival. Had great instructions (refreshers for experienced kayakers) and an overview of where wed be going. Tracy was our guide. She would stop and share info on the mangroves and wildlife, even pulling a crab and a slug (all appropriately done to keep the animals safe) for us to see. She had a lot of knowledge of the mangroves that was so interesting! Fun, smart, helpful. Highly recommend!!

A great side trip while visiting St Pete’s beach. Informative and fun, with some exercise too. Our tour guide, Tracy, was a perfect leader of our little trip. Tired of sitting on the beach? - try a kayak tour.

Kristi was our guide and she was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and beyond friendly. She made the trip fun with her upbeat personality. We got to see some conches and went through the mangroves and we stopped at a beautiful beach. The weather was absolutely perfect. She made sure to communicate with everyone on our tour. It was a great three hour kayak experience.
