Join Coastal Kayak Charters for a small group guided kayak tour of the Shell Key Preserve. We are St Pete's top rated kayak tour company and focus exclusively on small groups and private tours. Our trips offer more personalized service and better wildlife viewing opportunities while out on the water. We will explore hidden mangrove tunnels (tides permitting), shallow seagrass meadows, and stop on Shell Island for time to swim, look for shells, or just relax and enjoy the beach. Our tours are designed for beginners and experienced kayakers alike. We use stable user friendly kayaks that provide a great paddling experience. We primarily use double kayaks unless you have an odd number in your group. If you prefer single kayaks they are available through our website. Come explore with local professionals who love what they do and see the difference for yourself.

What's Included

All Equipment, Instruction & Dry Bags. Primarily Double Kayaks, singles available through website.

**Weight Limit** 250lbs per seat | 450lbs combined for double kayaks.

*Ages 3+ | 3-12 must be in a double kayak with an adult or older child.

*Please arrive to launch site 30min early, there are no public facilities available at site.

Our guide, Spencer was very knowledgeable and attentive to us and the other group accompanying us. We saw plenty of bird life and kayaking through the mangroves was amazing. Even managed a swim on shell island!

Great tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and pleasant. He did not rush us. We saw lots of birds, had ample time to hunt for shells, went through the mangroves, and saw the sunset, which I'd view as a bonus as the tour after ours was the one actually advertised as the sunset tour.
